Completely agree with this sentiment. Tired of our fans always yearning for ex players/managers. It's such a small time mentality that we need to steer well clear of. Football has changed so much, leaving us to stagnate. Time to start running us as a competent business.

That includes, not bringing back Richarlison, for heavens sake.

I hate Dyche and am not exactly bowled over by these texans but I think there's probably some legitimate reasons why they might be gun shy that we aren't privy to.

Most notably that no one wants the job, mid-season with no money, with this group of players.

I’ll be incredibly underwhelmed if he’s not removed before Thursday’s game. With 9 days until our next PL game it’s a perfect time to pull the trigger and let a new gaffer bed in for a few days.

Roma gives us a pretty good marker for how TFG operate. They don’t appear to have an issue pulling the trigger but they do tend to do it with a replacement ready, unlike Moshiri who would waste 3 weeks hiring a new manager.
They also don’t speak with the press so anyone claiming they’ve heard from sources.. those sources are not TFG. Dyche will go, it’s a matter of when not if… I imagine they are just getting all their ducks in a row first. A change to Moshiri who didn’t know where the hell his ducks were.

Friedkins won’t be like Moshiri telling everyone via a phone call to Jim White what’s going on. They’ll have a plan and I doubt there will be many leaks. If it’s not now, it’s pretty clear Dyche will probably have to win the Peterborough and Villa games at home to survive any longer than next week.
