The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Being told you’re overreacting is incredibly old. If you’re comfortable with this position, good for you, but the self righteousness was old a few seasons ago

Know what you mean mate I was told saying we'd be in a scrap again this season and I'd take 17th was overreacting because we'd signed Lindstrom and NDiaye

look how many bodies they have forward though, look at how they press. You cannot tell me that our team would not see a significant improvement if we implemented this mindset. We are actively coached backwards, you can’t convince me that it’s a professional’s instinct to hoof it long at every opportunity. Dyche is the single biggest factor as to why we’re underperforming. It doesn’t help that our injuries are always for ages, it’s never just one or two weeks. Where tf is McNeil? There’s no clarity

Oh I think part of the injury thing is how hard will a player push to get back as soon as he can so he can play for Dyche, it's a valid question btw even if subconsciously it's happening

Funny how I was criticised for saying we should sign Sammie Szmodics eh. He has more goals in the pl that any of our players.

Ipswich have Szmodics. We have Docoure.
Ipswich have Szmodics. We have dom

Mind you Ipswich just got promoted

He probably is - but he's still not good enough for a truly ambitious club, which is what I hope we are about to become.

Today is classic Silva - the chance to move on up with a promoted side in town: and we get this.
Looking like one point from Wolves, Southampton and Ipswich at home for Silva. Imagine the fans reaction if he came here and that happened.
