Yes I have a raging one. No i am not proud of it.

Top tips for returning to a state of feeling semi-human again? I'm sure many will appreciate sound advice for tomorrow too.
If I need to get back on the horse and feeling normal again I usually reach for a drink with electrolytes like Gatorade or something.

And some salty food. Lots of it

my hangovers the last few years have completely disappeared and now i just get anxiety for a day or so, i much preferred the headaches and being sick
I feel like mine have gotten worse as I’ve gotten older, but I think you’re probably spot on, the actual hangovers likely aren’t worse. It’s the beer fear that gets me more these days.

When I was a lot younger, and been on a bender, this was my trick.

Before crashing out, I would open a large bottle of R Whites lemonade, and leave it on my bedside table.

Waking up the next morning, and feeling like the Chinese army had marched over my tongue in their stocking feet, I would neck it in one.

The sugar rush was an immediate help in the recovery process.

The trick is not to get pissed, drink until you get to the point of being happy/tipsy and then stop. I've nailed this technique, 5 or 6 pints does me, I have a good night then no hangover.

Same here, which is why I hardly drink anymore.

It’s almost impossible to explain how horrible to someone who doesn’t suffer from this.

It’s like you just want to lock the door on the rest of the world until it goes.
