I'm just glad it'll be over soon.

Not sure there's another club that could both tolerate and afford him, so I hope his admirers are making the most of these exhibitions.
Im all for a top class manager coming in now if the money is there. Still think he did a good job when we really needed it

I don’t know anymore

I always get worried that he’s lost the dressing room but then then he gets 5 points from Wolves, Arsenal and Chelsea, and suddenly I have to reconsider things again

Is he the manager to take us forward?

Probably not

Is he capable of keeping the ship steady until that manager comes along?

Maybe

Honestly the style argument means nothing to me. It’s about results, and if he can get them then fair enough, give him till the end of the season and reassess

If we go on another bad run then it’s one bad run too many imo and action is likely required
He’s not getting wins though, a Couple of good 0.0’s doesn’t change we have a point a game, from 16 games, will we survive,
Of course we will the 3 teams That came
Up are rank and probably won’t get to 30 points, is that good enough not a chance.
There will be no reassessing in the summer, he’s gone. How can you have a long term plan with a manger who set up not to lose

For arguments sake Dyche keeps playing the old has beens, does not give the young players a chance to develop their skills. Because he does not like taking a chance !

So you'd play him at 10 every game and I guess you'd like us to sign 2 wingers?

If the players are missing clear chances.

I'd probably have gotten two actual wingers, despite I am pleased with Ndiaye on that position so far, and also McNeil did decent at CAM. In the current squad, I actually would play Ndiaye winger as well, just because we have no other players in the squad that offers that much of a package needed for the position. I feel we are more effective mit McNeil CAM and Ndiaye LM than the other way round.

The bigger problem this season is creating chances at all, as we aren't 11th in creating big chances, we are 20th, not 8th at missing chances, we are 18th. This is a worrying decrease, because now it's not only the missing that's the problem, but also the creating in the open play.

It's a quality problem on one side, if you play Doucoure and Harrison, but also a tactical problem, as good Dyche does the job to make us good defensively with 25 clean sheets in 72 games here, he fails it to do the same offensively.

Because he does not know how to play that way, too scared of conceding and losing.

Absolutely, I am fine in games like vs Chelsea or Arsenal, yesterday he did good set up and also good ingame management, good subs, good adaptions in the 2nd half. But he doesn't in most of games.

As I said, we played some of the best football in the recent years against Bournemouth at home that was under the Dyche, it's what I expect to see against on paper top half teams every time. But he's not capable of doing it.

Yeah I mean I'm not busting a gut for him to stay, I think that's been misunderstood.

I just would like caution and us not to bust a gut to get anyone in because that's how we got here via the like of Ronald Koeman etc...

What I'm saying is, take our time, don't rush and mess it up simply for change's sake. We have a golden opportunity here, lets not waste it by being hasty.
Agree in principle but replacing him in the summer is hardly being hasty! What we absolutely need to do is appoint the DOF (or renew current DOF’s contract) and let them choose the manager. The latter looks likely. Therefore given that he didn’t choose manager & clearly doesn’t see eye to eye with him then Dyche needs to go in the summer at the very latest.

Is Ndiaye not a striker? And why the fixation on strikers getting chances? WTF does it matter who gets them? Arsenal's goals are coming from corners with CBs as the main goal threat.

How are the haters now distinguishing between strikers and other outfield players getting chances?...oh yeah, because they're blinded by hate.

As you were.
It’s pretty amazing how you can go from blind loyalty to a manager who couldn’t defend but could attack to a manager who can’t attack but can defend!:lol::lol:

I support every Everton manager. Only one I called for the head of was Koeman when he'd bankrupted us to get us into a relegation place. Enough was enough with that fatted headed Dutch fraud.

This isn’t difficult, if it’s about results the guys got an 18.75% win rate in the league this season!

A fair and accurate summary. We’ve fallen off a cliff in terms of chance creation this season. Admittedly not a very high cliff, but still the difference has been marked.

There is no great benefit to the owners if we finish 11th or 17th. All that matters to their project and investment is we remain a Premier League club. Given we had very little to spend in recent seasons, they will have budgeted for survival. Anything else is a bonus.

Essentially, there are very low standards at this club - but that's largely a consequence of having very poor owners.

New owners, new competence, new ambtion, new manager.
Isn’t that benefit financial to the tune of about £10m which helps our PSR position plus the level of quality of player we can attract in the summer?
