Southampton are comfortably the worst team in the PL directly as a result of their focus on 'proper' football.

Conceding so many chances and goals clearly illustrates that their approach to attacking football has been massively flawed with the players at their disposal. And their XG stats really aren't massively different to most teams especially as they've had 2 penalties and we've had none haven't we?*

*I could be very wrong here...
What about the other 18 teams

You can’t use games in isolation it’s 8 league wins in over a year. Well obviously without McNeil he has to probably play one but he could have played Harrison left who got 21 goals and 16 assists in 3 years at Leeds on the left. Ndaiye in the 10 lindstrom right. Ok certain games he will be a bit more defensive, but he’s has no clue how to win games or even try to win games. The game v 10 men Brentford proved that

Im not disputing that the results arent beloe expectations overall this season.

However, you have also highlighted that Harrison and Lindstrom would need to start to use Ndiaye centrally.

In open games I think we should use Ndiaye centrally but not games where the central space is condensed like the last 2. When he did move him centrally against Brentford that i found daft and poor as there was limited space for him to play.

Harrison at Leeds got a huge amount of chances with their Kamikaze football...and even then he was pretty crap.
