Did you expect a win against Chelsea pal? They’re right at the top of the league, very useful point.

I expected, sorry hoped for, more ambitious intent.

The fact that a 0-0 draw at home is being celebrated by some is a sad indictment of how far we have fallen and how much people have allowed Dyche to insert the Burnley mentality onto us.

We are the new Burnley, congratulations and merry Xmas all.

No offence Zat, as I like you as a poster, but calling people “creatures” for laughing at your prediction (which was wrong might I add) an then coming out with the above is not a good look in my view.

It was a very good performance and I hope it continues. Doing a very good job against the top teams recently. It’s setting up and playing for the draws against the garbage teams that is why he draws so much ire.

Yet we should have won.

….agree, had the team well organised and ultra competitive. He can only play the hand he’s been dealt, defended resolutely and had a couple of decent chances to win it if he was given more attacking quality.
We can be a good open play team.

Should play like that more often.

Any team would be happy with a 0-0 against the 2nd best team in their division.

Chelsea have scored 19 in the past 5 games mate did you want him to go gung-ho?! He’s got it right today. NSNO is silly, Everton have been crap for 30 years mate. All the best.

Two points from Arsenal away and Chelsea second in the league (the form team) at home is something everyone should be happy with.

There are other games for us to moan about style of play - these were not two of those games as frustrating as it can be. Expect same on Thursday
100%

I don’t see ever actually thinking Dyche is the right way forward now, but those two points could make a difference this season and we’d all have taken that return if offered before matches kicked off. Fair play. It’s tedious, but results are king.

It’s not fans standards that are low. Every fan has the same standards, to be the best.

The club over 30 years have lowered standards. Some people recognise this and understand the at Dyche is the symptom of where the club is at and he’s done a decent job in the constraints the club has set him.

Others seem to be blaming Sean Dyche for the death of NSNO. Very short memories, and it’s not coming back any time soon even if he plays Roman Dixon and put Harrison on the left.

Only a clever strategy by the Friedkin’s backed up by continuous investment in increasing player and managerial quality gets us back to the top.

We are the new Burnley of the premier league, I don't know why some people on here are so happy about that.

Oh it 'could have been worse' seems to be the only rebuttal.

Just hope our new owners are not so defeatist!

Also NSNO is the most meaningless argument ever and hasn't been relevant since the 80s, time to grow up and stop using that as a crutch for your crap arguments me thinks. The club is worse than Bournemouth and Fulham and people need to accept it lmao.

Did you even watch the game? It was a solid performance and point against a team coming off a five match win streak who we made look average and, but for a poor finish, would have beaten for the 6th time in 7 games
