They are learning every day with their ownership at roma where they have done mistakes by replacing managers thinking that it will make a difference and no plan. I can see them adopting a much more cautious approach here, and probably leave dyche and thelwell alone until the summer to see if they can turn things around, especially if funds are made available to get one or two quality addition in January.
You see why this is an insane idea, right?

The whole dimension of the club will change.

A: Weve seen Thelwell bring in a significant number of players for the youth teams last summer. The pick of which appear to be Benjamin, Clarke & Graham.

Imagine the growth he could implement with funds. Even £10mil a season would go a long way here in recruitment.

B: The stadium and training facilities are supposedly top notch. There was an article on Newcastle this week regarding their players e.g Gordon, Isak and Guimaraes being sold on a stadium and new training ground -- they are now 'unsettled' as it looks like those infrastructure projects wont happen during their contracts with the club.

C: Half our squad will be out of contract this summer. Some may be kept on low cost short term extenstions, nevertheless there is a massive opportunity to rebuild the team and squad.

These players are contracted beyond this season

2026:
Mykolenko
Garner
Tarkowski

2027
Branthwaite
Pickford
McNeil
Beto
Chermiti
Iroegbunam
Patterson
Armstrong
Dixon

2028
O'Brien

2029
Ndiaye

Some of these will also be sold. However this is only 14 players from e.g a 23 man squad.

We will need to spend significantly in January and the summer.

The opportunity to take this club to where it belongs in the top 6 is achievable with a focus on youth and infrastructure as well as a few key signings able to come in and take us to the next level.

Its going to be a rollercoaste
Another 2 years of mykolenko ? Thats my Crimbo ruined

I am looking forward to seeing the new owners in place, apparently Wednesday is the big announcement. Looking forward to seeing some changes in how things are done at the club but I can’t see those changes being too drastic at first. If TFG decide to leave Dyche and Thelwell in their posts I don’t see a big winter transfer window, why would they give that pair money to spend when both will probably be gone at the end of the season, if not before.

This is like when my prostrate kicks off.
You want something to happen but it just seems to leave you hanging over the toilet bowl in expectation.
only a dribble comes out teases you and your left wanting ,for it to burst into action.
But you have to still wait ,
it starts to hurt but you know it will come eventually and you will get the feeling of relief when it happens .
Lifes good again
Hurry up yanks , I want to shake my willy and say goodbye to the Moshiri/ kenwright years.
As they disappear down the pan.

Beautiful @edge , could have been written by Shakespeare himself 😂

I don't like the idea myself....simply suggesting how complicated it is to make huge decision that could have significant ramifications on the future of the football club. With dyche as manager, it is more likely than not that we will survive. Having a new manager is tempting, one that can change the course of our history for the better, however it is so easy to make the wrong choice at a time our squad can't really compete with the rest of the PL. It is not like united that can afford to change managers as they have enough talent in that squad to finish comfortably the season in the top 10 whichever manager they're going with. A wrong appointment in January, and we could get into trouble with relegation especially with the psr limitation this season.

That would be a huge mistake to spend money on players dyche wants in January. As he won’t be here next season. And if Thelwell and TFG have spoke about which way they want to go regarding the next manager, then we could be getting players dyche won’t use if he’s had no say in them.
Dyche is not stupid...if you give him a top right winger in January of course he will be in the team before harrison or lindstrøm. Even if that player wasn't on his wish list. The team is crying out for quality footballers. Any player we sign should be able to adapt to any style of management even those that requires them to work hard defensively. I wouldn't want a top player that do amazing things going forward, but not keen on tracking back.

Have you actually watched us or listened to dyche, he mentioned ndaiye doesn’t work hard enough to be in the 10 role, yet he had better defensive stats than McNeil who was actually playing there. He’s now gone back to doucoure, purely on the basis he works hard and defends. That’s his only interest as a coach, players who work hard and defend. We hardly create anything from open play and he can’t coach attacking players. Last season McNeil and Harrison stank the gaff out for long periods, yet he picked them every week.

He’s that arrogant and stubborn, if Thelwell bought a player behind his back I guarantee he wouldn’t play him
