I got some Twinnings hot chocolate recently. Definitely far better than Cadbury.
Having a mug of this now. Deffo nice but I wouldn't say it was any better than the proper Cadbury's stuff.

I'm too old to be changing things like hot chocolate preferences ...

This stuff is tremendous, most hot chocolate is a bit too much for me. After a couple sips I’m done. Only time I’ve ever had hot chocolate that I liked was in Australia. In some chocolate shop chain that did an Aztec one, really thick with a bit of cinnamon and chilli in it. Cadburys is to sickly for me so I don’t know why I liked this one so much. If anyone in Oz knows the name of this chocolate shop chain I think I went to it in Melbourne.

Edit, found the place. It’s called San Churro and the drink was the Azteca

There’s a UK manufacturer that has its own stores, that also does an ‘Aztec’ hot chocolate called Montezuma’s. Might have had a store over there possibly?

Going to keep an eye out for that Horlicks though, love malted chocolate drinks.

When I got back from Oz I became obsessed with it and used to get this in Asda. It’s the mutts nuts. Asda don’t sell it anymore but you can find it online, used to be £5 for a big tub but now it’s pretty pricy.

I’d defo recommend that Horlicks though mate, really nice and not too chocolatey. I know that sounds weird me saying that after saying how much I loved that thick stuff. I think the chilli and cinnamon stopped it being to much, also comes in a small cup cos it’s so potent. FYI Mrs Bedford blue will thank you for the chilli in your chocolate. It does more then Taste good
