Why don't you read his full post? He says it was over cautious calling it off.
You know I don't determine whether a match Is played , I also said I didn't know the full details of the developing weather situation, as I was just giving my opinion at the time I was in the waterfront of liverpool before I took the train

6am train back from London only for them to call off the game at 8am.

I don’t understand the “threat to life” shout. It isn’t even that windy.

Safety should be a priority, but it’s genuinely not even that bad out there. Utter woke nonsense.

Have a safe journey.

Mossley Hill.
Strange, that must have happened overnight because it’s absolutely fine right now.

It’s not unusual for this country to jump the gun though, a little bit of ice and everything falls apart. A little bit of wind and the implications have cost people thousands. Shame really.

Yes always, the current rules mean we stay in our box... and we could win a trophy more than them every year and we still wouldn`t overtake them in the years I`ve got left on this planet... the chances are they will be many many more clear by then. We all live for just 1 trophy in our lifetimes and they do that most seasons these days.

Whats their revenue £600m+, to ours less than £200m

This club will never get back on top, forever in their shadow, as much as that pains me to say.

We are probably mid table in terms of size of club with National League level of thinking... what kind of forward thinking big club would be perfectly satisfied with Dyche? Small club mentality, always have been in the best part of 40 years supporting this club. This takeover will change the direction from where we are now but we will end of the 7th-12th best team not ever catching the top 6.

We will never play Champions League football.... it`s a sad reality and when we are just existing further up the table we wont be Burnley we will be Brentford or if we are lucky Brighton.

I`ve made my peace, expect nothing and don`t be disappointed.
Dyche was brought i to keep us in the league, with a chance that he could move us up the table, but being on a relatively short deal, an option that won`t cost much to be shot of.

Brentford and Brighton are two good examples of clubs being able to make huge progress moving up the league once they were being run properly off the field. You think of all the doom and gloom around our position, its not that long ago Brighton were fighting to stay alive, having had to sell their ground and coming from a few minutes of getting relegated from the football league.

What has us stuck in this position of thinking we will never be at the top of the game again is the years being told that being 5th and best of the rest was all we could hope for. Then it became 7th and best of the rest. The problem all along was how badly we were being run off the field and if we ever get that sorted we will have a chance to get back to the sharp end of things.

Doing it right will mean that we may have several years of being mid table with some cup runs but building foundations that mean that when we make progress up the table we won`t be tumbling back down in a season or two. It will mean when we get there we will also be able to stay there.
If we just go down the path of the new owners just throwing money on transfers for to get us up in a season or two we will be back where we are now in a couple of seasons. Newcastle are finding out that throwing money on first team players is a bit of a short term fix, that only works if you can keep throwing more money followed by more money at bringing players in.

Cost me a bit of time and money but I'm glad we aren't having a gofundme coz someone's Dad died on the way to the game today.
