I thought he was motm tonight, the 2nd goal was absolutely vital, I thought he was combative and excellent with the ball. Gueye looked a lot better with Mangala alongside him.

Once a player goes past him, his recovery isn't the best but when he gets himself positionally alright he's confident of receiving the ball.

Not sure about him with Gana. They're both too slow. A couple of times in the first half before we were ahead he and Gana got played through and as you say, the recovery wasn't there. Seemed to get things sorted later on though, so maybe it's just a case of playing together enough. Dunno, it's a tricky one, he is decent (and strong) on the ball.

Not for me, James Garner is better all round and will continue to improve in the right system. Young Tim will too.

Still like him and would be happy if we could sign him for <£10m from a struggling Lyon. All about depth and he’s a good player.

That’s a lot. Would need some hefty negotiation on that. Good at the basics. Which immediately lifts him above some of our squad, but that’s expensive for basics.

Fantastic loan signing though. A very rare success. Wouldn’t be bothered if he started most weeks. Which as a loan is shrewd-tastic.

Yes mate. Looks like a 12-13m player to me and I think past that then we'll need to be smart and look elsewhere
