this was so close to being a good vault if it wasn’t for the date of the post. Excellent trying though Christopher.
Does the date really matter, I know you’ll say “circumstances have changed etc” but the reality remains: small time manager

Doesn’t make the statement any less correct. In fact it proves the majority of people are correct in their assessment of Dyche.

His small time mindset has us setting up for games, no matter the opposition with his main objective being “do not lose” rather than “do everything to win”.

So embrace the statement mate, because you were correct

Genuine question here mate; do you have any fears that in a more attacking set-up our top scorer would still end up getting about 8/9 goals?

Sometimes opinions change and sometimes they don't. This was me 7 years ago i.e a year earlier than your post. Ended up being quite prophetic actually.

Yeah facts and reality do tend to matter

We could aim higher in 2017, the situation in 2023 was extremely different,

The situation is about the change against, hopefully, therefore we’ll be able to aim higher once more.

The job of spending Moshiri’s millions to take a team from 8th to challenging Europe is much different than taking a team that’s 19th and the club will be making profit each window whilst it tries to be sold. Different problems, different managers required.

But maybe ndiaye scores 7/8 instead of 2, McNeil, Harrison, lindstrom all chip in as well. A better coach would get a lot more out of our forward players, that’s not that difficult to understand
It’s almost like common sense doesn’t apply when discussing Dyche.

Imagine having that much fear that you look at 6 international players, 11 players with years and years of Premier League professional football under their belt, and your first thought is “bunker down for a 0-0 draw because Southampton are better than us”

The mind boggles
