Apathy.

All the Dyche apologists are hoping for a miracle in December.

I dislike this guy so much but many (not as many as before the season started though to be fair) still want him to manage this Club because he has done an amazing job thus far preventing us from being relegated.
Correct . As a fan base we’re done . years and it is years ,of this have beaten us down . I’ve joked about it but It’s genuinely akin to an abusive relationship , the club have beaten the fight out of us .

I don’t think we see a day like palace again because we’ve got nothing left in us and let’s be honest the second half would see about 15,000 blues still in the stadium .

Because it makes Dyche seem better if you say 1 defeat in 9 games instead of 2 wins out of 12 which is absolutely shocking.
Yes it will be interesting to see how Dyche spins it once we're second bottom on Boxing day. Although he'll then no doubt say we've had an incredibly tough run of fixtures, not alluding to the easier run prior to that when we've failed to win.

‘Dychettes’ is one of the cringiest things I see on this forum every day. Is there anyone here still defending Dyche?

Or are people pointing out the squad is also crap too?

What happens when the next manager has to work with these same players through that crazy December and gets 4/5 hammerings trying to play football? Do we pull the trigger then too?

The squad is woeful, the manager is also woeful. It needs strengthening in January and I’d probably sack Dyche December 30th and give a new guy an easier run of games and hopefully some fresh blood.

Erm. Yes.

Monday morning and he is literally waiting to be sacked. He knows it, we know it and the players know it.

His motivation is on the floor and it has palpably bled onto the pitch. Why hasn’t the DOF done anything about what is clear to all? The longer this dumpster fire is ignored, the more the challenge for the next guy gets worse.

For a variety of reasons, but here's a few...

1) It's never been established that our DOF has the power to do this. It's not the norm at other Premier League teams for the DOF to be able to make that decision
2) Even if it was within the DOF's remit, until the takeover happens we are on the breadline. Sacking him costs money and appointing another manager and backroom team also costs money. It's highly likely we don't have that money at the moment.
3) The manager is out of contract at the end of the season. Unless we are going down, the cost-effective and logical route to go down is to part ways at the end of the season and let someone new lead us out at Bramley Moore
4) It's perfectly reasonable to assume that new owners will want a new manager anyway. We aren't far away from this being a reality, it's frustrating in the interim but barring some sort of Lazarus-esque miracle, Dyche will be gone by the end of the season at worst. Patience required.
