He’s still talking like he’s taken over a club with no fit centre forward and only Demari Gray and Alex Iwobi with any forward potential. The reality is, he’s got a much better squad than when he took over, a fully fit DCL but he’s still playing the same way. He’s constantly lowering expectations to excuse his cowardly pathetic tactics. This squad could easily finish mid table with a decent manager who didn’t [bad language removed] the bed every game. He must think we’re utterly stupid.

It strikes me that he knows he's gone as soon as the takeover is done and he's making it plain to all prospective future employers that us being terrible is nothing to do with him. That's nonsense, of course, but you can understand why he's in damage limitation mode with regards to his own reputation.

Even if the new owners are stupid he knows he’s gone at the end of the season anyway as his contract is up. The ways he’s acting and had us performing tells me he wants the sack before Christmas with his contract paid up.

Its a dead heat between Benitez and Dyche as my most hated Everton manager followed by Allardyce.

He's has had a few firsts this season.

Southamptons only 3 points and clean sheet. Dyche
Brentfords only point and clean sheet away. Dyche
Newcastles only away clean sheet. Dyche.
Spurs only clean sheet at home. Dyche.
West hams only clean sheet at home. Dyche.

Assume TFG would get rid of him if they were in control.

He's out of ideas now i think - and has an even lower glass ceiling in his head than Moyes did.

Not expecting miracles for this squad but I'm not seeing any wins in our future, just hard fought draws - worse, I don't think he does either - he's mentally given in.

A handful of fans, not least on this forum, not only think Dyche's dreadful performance is fine, they think it is some sort of miracle. It boggles the mind.

Interestingly some were the same ones that defended Benitez.
