Does being on time for pressers win you points?

100% ultimately this is a results business and will be judged accordingly.

I agree with @Simon Buttle Dyche has had a huge chance and thus far failed the audition in my opinion, in terms of a future here.

There is a real spectrum at the moment, you could say we won 2 in11 equally you Equally you can say we were beaten once in 6 - I've heard both in the media this week.
Probably the echo journalists were pushing the 1 in 6. They’re definitely dyche fans or more scared to say a bad word about anything regarding the club. It’s funny that’s it tends to be the fans. Pointing out we’ve had a decent set of fixtures

The entire frezy is interesting, the press conference is definitely a trigger point, its an exercise in group psychology on here.

Its online Lord of the Flies.
I think press conferences generally tend to bring the worst out of manager personality traits anyway, managers can become quite spiky with any engagement with the media be it pressers or pre / post match interviews. Not particularly arsed how he acts or answers as I wouldn’t be with any other manager. He just need to improve performances and points returns.

Who gives a crap?

I'd only be concerned if that was a reflection of his attitude towards being the head coach. As far as I'm aware, he holds himself to the same standards he holds the players to when it comes to work ethic, attendance and punctuality on the training ground and in prep for matches.

You know who was never late for pressers? Koeman. Probably because he ended training early so he could have a wank in the bogs and a brew beforehand. :hayee:
It’s not relevant to his overall performance in the the scheme of things but from a leadership point of view, he shouldn’t be finding players for being late to things (as has been reported in the past) if he is constantly late. You either value punctuality or you don’t but lead by example.

I think we will grow into the season, my suspicion is our fitness plan is to peak later.

The real block to target is the fixtures in late Dec to March - we really need to well in this period - it was very undermining last year.
Fitness is vitally important of course, but be better with the ball, and that helps.

I could actually see John, Ste and even the boss jumping out of the Dychemobile if we get beat today. Neiler and SD will continue attempting to steer it without any wheels as the engine is on fire. It would take Putin’s nuke for them to ever give up on him, every excuse under the sun will be made, from the players to the fans to maybe even Tom Davies, it’ll be everyone else’s fault.

See that’s SD to me. Gets overtly angry whenever any criticism of Dyche appears on here. Ste I can imagine being humble enough to change his mind based on enough evidence being presented.

Oh forgot about the loon ball

Can’t you two bedwetters have your weekly circle jerk over Everton losing in private? Get your Brighton and Hove Albion branded lube out and have a good time lads.

McKenna needs to show he can actually keep Ipswich up first Zat (he won't over the course of the season imo) I reckon we will have someone by then.

Not necessarily. I think if their team shows certain things then as long as they dont implode its enough for me.

Depends on whether we keep Dyche until season end and whether you think that manager can succeed even if his team go down.
