He should never have been appointed

I disagree actually

Fair play to him, he achieved his mandate twice over by keeping us in the league under difficult conditions

We are probably the biggest club he’s ever going to manage (no offence intended to Burnley)

He did well enough there that he arguably earned the right to have a go at a club the size of Everton

It was always going to take a crisis for a club, our size to give him an opportunity. We are in the midst of a very serious crisis and he has done his fair share to keep the boat afloat during very turbulent times

That all being said, it’s pretty clear that he’s reached his ceiling and he’s out of ideas. That means he has to go but it doesn’t mean that he shouldn’t have been given the chance originally Imo

I have always held the opinion that he gets the season, we shake hands and he moves on. The problem is, I just don’t know how much longer I can watch this, it’s proper painful.
If we had any board, ambition or direction he should go tonight. I still think he gets the season, better the devil you know kind of situation.

But why should he “get the season” if we’re entrenched in a relegation battle after finishing mid table last season?

Awful football, doesn’t play his best players and play players in their best positions.

His only plan b is to stick Keane upfront, surely keep Dom on and then try two upfront

Time to go, but there won’t be a change until new owners come in so we’re stuck with him

We're not entrenched in a relegation battle tho. It's November and we're 4 pts above it. It's a long season
I'm not one for looking too far ahead normally, but that is how we perform against undoubtedly one of the three worse clubs in the league, how are we going to pick up results moving forward now our fixtures turn ?

I just will not accept an Everton side setting up like that against bottom of the league relegation candidates. It's unacceptable and the manager is not good enough to manage this club

We have no buffer moving into a tricky period. We are absolutely in trouble.

voted in. My worst fear is hiring a continental coach obsess with possession while completely ignoring front press and work rate. West Ham is a fine example.

Maybe not for the right reasons though, they’ll see it as an easy payday. Remains to be seen whether Friedkin will be paying anyone that much.
Hopefully not because none of our recent managers have performed to a level deserving of 100k per week

Same goes for our playing squad. Stop offering such huge wages to players who are not performing
