I mean did we? They could easily have not. We had a whole Textor period in between those two events. I think if we’re winning games people are less irrational about the timescale.

I don’t know. I think the squad is ahead of the team that just beat us, and 3 or 4 others. Their gamesmanship has delayed their own hand being forced to get a manager in who send teams out trying to win, rather than trying to not lose. Points per game were on target for Dyche if we win today (1.2). Doubt they would find that acceptable.
