We were all tracking Ancelotti's flight and even knew what he had bought in Duty Free.Just doubt TFG could control comms so tightly.
We're a leaky sieve - from mundate stuff like team news, to transfer signings - we all know about it long before.

Good to know and nicely explained. Didn't realise the rules had changed on thatActually it wouldn't be a problem even then technically speaking. As you can see, City and Girona, Leipzig and Salzburg etc. all compete in the same European cup without problems. They reformed the law this summer. UEFA requires clubs with the same ownership not to have the same people in their boards of directors. That's it.
Iroegbunam seemed to be out of the blue aswelLast one was Mykolenko.
Regarding the RMF debt, Friedkin has all the aces in how he wants to go about paying that debt all off in one go or restructuring it. If he doesn't take over the threat of administration still looms if Moshiri is still in place and Everton get relegated. With that threat all invested parties will dance to Friedkin's tune rather than risk their sum.
Different reports on the RMF debt saying it will be paid off or restructured. More than likely be paid off in full Matty. Wouldn't worry about it. TFG will do what's best for them and the club regarding the debtsi thought we was ok now he will clear every penny to everyone and the debt?
I'm pretty sure the Dynamo Kiev manager announced it about 2 weeks before we actually signed him.Reckon I'd find a post on here or social media a good week before he signed about him
[Edit] Here's Zat talking about rumours before he asigned;
Thing is Bri, outside of ourselves the unique identity you speak of to everyone else not an evertonians is that if a horribly mismanaged laughing stock of a club clinging to it's past glories which the majority of modern fans weren't even born when we enjoyed them.Point well made.
In an ideal world I would want us to be owed outside of a multi club model.
But you can also look at it as custodianship as much as ownership.
It does bring advantages also, in an environment where there are global super-clubs.
And anyway, its not like the owners of the Top 6 have absolutely no other business interests.
I have no doubt it can bring us some leverage and also no doubt that it will not dilute our unique identity in any meaningful way.
God i hope not….i’d actually be very surprised if somebody on Friedkin’s team hasn’t been tasked with gauging the views of Everton fans on the range of issues impacting their club.
More specifically, I can see this site being a source of reference for them.
In the case of Everton Murphys Law will once again rise from its slumberKnowing our luck, Trump will get elected, invade Mexico so he can build his wall then all of Europe will sanction American owners and freeze their assets leaving us potless yet again lol
All true.Thing is Bri, outside of ourselves the unique identity you speak of to everyone else not an evertonians is that if a horribly mismanaged laughing stock of a club clinging to it's past glories which the majority of modern fans weren't even born when we enjoyed them.
Anyone joining after the premier league era knows Evertons only achievement as being an ever present hanger on to its league status.
Frankly the stuff we hang onto about us being unique, etc, go to most clubs in the league and certainly their hardcore fans will all think this of themselves also.
I distinctly remember pre ground moves both west ham and spurs fans saying they didn't want to lose the unique status they had
I'd love the American model of something like draft picks. Seems to make their sports more competitive. Could be done be having regional academies, not connected to any club. Worse team gets first pick of 18 year old player and keeps the player for a few seasons. It will never happen, of course, but something along those lines would be my choice.
See Major League Baseball.Kinda doesn't work unless you have a college system where pretty much all players have to go through, and also you kinda need to be the only country that actually plays it at that monetary level.
Can see maybe dcl staying now will be on the list like the manager and dof TFG will have to decide on. But honestly have no idea what they will have planned between clubs is going to be a big turnover in players next season for us.Short term at least I can see Roma moving several players into Everton (both Bove and Abraham I believe are possible ones in the future), wouldn't utterly shock me to see a deal thst sees DCL move to Rome in January with Abraham moving in a separate deal the other way. Similarly can see a option were Fiorentina cancel Boxes loan - we cancel Mangala (which now seems weird as it was obviously Textor influenced) he then goes Fiorentina and Bove stays at Rome or goes here.
Short term at least the Roma will be the senior club - it simply is more advanced and stronger in every way than we are (with less difficult roadblocks ahead for progression).
Long term wise ultimately it should benefit both sides, open access to each others teams resources and scouting departments, shared knowledge etc, the ability to shift certain players around depending on the needs of both sides.
Wouldn't shock me to find out in the future the agreement to pay off the RMF loan went along the line of - take the settlement offer or once we take over we will ask an independent commission to look into the nature of this loan to see if it breached any rules (or at least the negative PR to both RMF and the image of Kenwright and his mates would have been substantial once the interconnecting web was shown) RMF tol essentially your bleeding of the club is over - settle on how many hundreds of millions you've already essentially stolen from the club and don't push it any further.
Same with ACAP - told to take the offer or after buying the club we'll wait for the court case resolution and we know we'll be paying pennies in the pound afterwards.
Think TFG are serious businessman and acted as such mate.
100% agree has been the reason several players have come to this country have went to smaller clubs in england for money. But not just that is also meant to be a nightmare getting the new stadium done in italy with several teams finding it hard .People congratulating themselves that Everton "have more potential" than Roma for the Friedkins need to remember this when lamenting the inevitable rise in ticket prices and other paraphanelia that will eventually ensue.
The Premier League isn't instrinsically more attractive than Serie A or the Bundesliga. It's simply that the Premier League has sold its sold to the devil in ways that Serie A couldn't and the Bundesliga wouldn't.
The buccaneering capitalism of Tory Britain birthed the Premier League. The Football League and then Football Association were sidelined in favour of private capital. These were all choices, based on the particular culture of the UK.
So, when people congratulate themselves that Everton have more financial potential than a huge club like Roma, remember why that is and accept that this invariably means the further endangerment of working class inclusion when the new stadium arrives.
Basically, we don't want the German model of fan ownership (I mean, some of us do, but the country as a whole won't tolerate it), and we can't have things both ways.
