Yep .... its right up there with new stadium "never gunna happen". davek is just GOT's restrictor of optimism.
Me...... I'd just rather have a little bit of hope once more 👍
What? Have they started building a new ground? @davek said that the UNESCO red tape would tie it up for years before killing it completely, so never bothered checking after that!

I can’t see them struggling too much for approval

Didn’t they basically already have it last time before they backed out?

I can’t imagine that much has changed since then

If ever a sale could be “waved through” you’d think it would be this one?
Joyce reckons it could take up to 8 weeks. Hopefully it'll be shorter than that.

I haven’t gone back through this thread, so apologies if anyone has asked or answered this already.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but what has changed?
The Friedkin Group pulled out a couple of months ago having had their chance to look under the bonnet.

Is it just big business strategy to walk away and come back and get Moshiri to accept a different offer? Was Textor just as patsy to force the Friedkins to come back to the table?

Are we going to find the Premier League take longer to review and approve this one?

Also, presuming this all goes through without a hitch, the new owner is going to find they’re under scrutiny from the get-go by a fan base which has been put through the mill over the last few years by the clubs former custodians.

Its a farce.

Surley no one believes this now.

I'm edging toward the @Goat position that no one is buying us.

These claims are unsustainable and cant possibly be taken seriously anymore.

I mean, how realistic are all these claims? One man 'has exclusivity' and another is 'back in again'.

Pfffft.

Utter bollocks the lot of it.

Someone is quiet on this today ?
