I know that the lattice effect on the brickwork is not to everyone's taste and I'm somewhat glad it is so subtle as to be mostly imperceptible, but I think nods like this below are really cool. Great shot from the latest club update vid...

Couple of weeks back the tip of my finger came into contact with one of the propellers as it landed on my hand.......never cut it but it was painful for a good few hours afterwards

I don't think he bins them mate. He probably saves them to give to taxi drivers.

Why have they installed dug out seats already? They're not even embossed with the club logo or a sponsor like every other team in the league.

I think they can all be added later, like the branding of the terrace seats etc

Be interesting to see the relationship between the pitch / advertising hoardings and that stone work.
If there’s any chance a player can come into contact with it I imagine it would be covered.

When they showed the East plaza steps as well mate, it cuts to an arists impression. Deffo looks like it's going to stay like that breezeblock finish.

Yeah, it's interesting to me precisely because it's right on the edge of being visible / not being visible when the pitch is laid.

Yep, even with the brick facade on the plaza it would have been nice to have the black panel trims so that from a distance (if you were on the ferry as an example) it would match with the panels on the stadium cladding.

Like you said, it definitely just feels like an add on and a cheap one at that.

Little things like that can be "fixed" later on, surely?

Yes.

I think this design for the stepped plaza was much better. The scale is more appropriate, and it's much more creatively shaped.

(Though I do think the massing of the carpark is too much - it projects too far).
