Dude I know the feeling. I work in a grocery store. It's also worse because the store I work at sells a huge variety of beer and wine so it's like a double whammy of hunger and thirst for alcohol at the same time.

It's totally inhumane, mate. The alcohol is a tease here too, pouring ice cold pints of Peroni what seems like a hundred times a night makes you damn thirsty.

Had take away by chance the last 3 nights in a row....I didn't have a choice in the matter each time. Good three days tbh

Used to serve it at a bar I worked at few years ago, £3 a pint. Had to get the technique right for it as its foamier than other beers. Let it run for a second before pouring into the cool shaped peroni glass.

This is the second restaurant I've worked at that serves it, those stupid top heavy vase glasses they come in used to be the bane of my life, I broke so many of them. I think it's something like £3.80 a pint in this place though.

That's not bad for a restaurant. Went to gusto the other week pint of becks was 3.90 and that's a considerably worse beer. Outrageous price that

one of the pubs in my town has just re-opened after a refit, they have apparently got mcewans on tap for £2.20 a pint........ i might have to go investigate for myself.

Certainly worth a venture

Becks Vier? Last time I had that was a few years ago and it was a bit horrible.

Thankfully it was normal becks which I like. I love German beer, been there quite a few times each region has its own brand and it's fantastic. Koelsch was the best; strong though! I'll have to look this up but there's some kind of law in place where you can't sell your local beer in other parts of the country or something like that so its localised and you wouldn't find it anywhere else in the world.

Cold chicken left over from yesterdays roast, chips, sweetcorn. I might be a bad tramp but its one of my favourite meals. Better than the actual roast itself.
