It beggars belief we've barely made a dent in the wages to turnover despite most of the higher earning players departing over the last few years. And that's the cost of a squad that's barely good enough to even compete in the PL. It's not just us either- the numbers across the league are awful. Being and remaining a PL club is almost financially unsustainable in itself.
This is what I am expecting - well, hoping. The stadium is costing us mega money each year, but we should be able to discount that in profit and sustainability.

pity no one understands this PSR calculation. It seems it will be losses of the last 4 seasons where Covid related costs & youth development, womens' team costs can be taken off. but my guess is we will be well over the 105MILL limit so we are doomed.
We should be able to get a massive chunk wiped off for the Stadium, as long as did the accounting right this time......
We can hope, but looking at it I'm not sure how much the stadium plays into it. The underlying non-stadium numbers are all bleak and worsening.
Yet as little as 3 years ago people still defended him. It’s all coming home to roost. The club is done, don’t even know what new owners would do with us. A complete basket case of a club.
The numbers are very bad, but we made a 50 odd million pound profit on player trading, it can only be the Stadium and interest making the dent.
If stadium interest already capitalised though, there isn’t any to then deduct from the statutory loss to get a lower PSR loss. £90m loss after knocking £19m of interest onto the balance sheet is scarcely believable.
