It's so odd to me to see so many people speculating in either direction based on any logic whatsoever when the bolded part here is the only thing that matters.

It's like, have you seen how the people making these decisions have acted in literally hundreds of other cases they've had to decide anything, big and small? You'll find more rhyme and reason in a random number generator.

The KC does help, but only if he's basically at the hearing stating or submitting arguments implying very strongly that the club will file suit against the PL for the obvious liability they have for their wrongdoing here, and that the PL will very obviously lose said suit. The rest of it is still what whim the PL follows in response to this.

If we didn’t have Farhad trying to meme his way through the charges, I would have bet on us never losing the points in the first place. I can’t even bet on us getting the points back at this juncture because we are just as spineless and incompetent as the league that left themselves very vulnerable and open to a legal battle.
