Tbh I have wondered that, putting Maupay on at Palace last season ahead of Simms, when it made obvious sense to put Simms on, who could score from set pieces or clear corners away got me thinking. How many chances did Maupay miss and still make starting 11. I think Simms would of taken Maupays chance against Liverpool, Villa and Fulham.
