6 + 2 Point Deductions

Can’t decide what’s worse, thelwell the big nose with money to spend or him without any money to spend.

if we did stay up this year and received a transfer ban. We would almost certainly go down next year. Squad would be so depleted. It would be a horrible season to watch.
Appeal and permit transfers in next window. Buy players in anticipation of the next window's ban. How the others do it

It’s either points back or not.

You don’t just pull a transfer ban out of your arse as part of an adjustment to the punishment. A transfer ban would just muddy the waters and open the PL up to dragging this out even further because such a ban is not objectively better or worse than a points deduction.
any transfer ban we would ask to be applied retrospectively anyway given we signed no players in January

would be like time served for prisoners who are in prison awaiting trial and sentencing

Everton asked for a transfer ban in the first hearing. That is where those reports came from.

It wouldn't be applied retrospectively if it were to be a ban.

You can't claim you served a punishment just because you chose not to do something you could have done.

Well we can’t really because the second hearing is due then.
Precisely.

The first report took between 3-4 weeks to produce, and publish (which is done by sending to PL and EFC simultaneously for amendments). Once each party has had the chance to make any amendments to the wording - this is a process that is no longer than a day and I believe in the first case they received the copy of the report in the afternoon of Thursday 16th November. It is then published to the PL's website. In the first case, it was published at 12pm on Friday 17th November.

Media are always briefed on these things, but it's never more than 30 minutes before. It's just a copy of the report and the PL press briefing so that articles can be set etc.

The same process will be followed this time. And tomorrow is 3 weeks since the appeal hearing concluded. If the same process is not followed it means that one the KC involved in writing the report has leaked it - I'm fairly certain that isn't going to happen.
