Well, if fan protests outside the stadium caused matches to be postponed?

The thing that angers me most about this is that I'm not even gonna bother going the match again this season. Don't see the effing point when there will literally be nothing to cheer until these shobgites decide our fate AFTER the season has ended.

Will people protest in significant numbers? I got the impression a lot didn't want to know about that sort of thing.

Maybe if they did what reading did at the weekend and run on the pitch that might be risking punishment

Failure to control the fans is defo a charge, and one that can be brought in instances of pitch invasion.

I was just wondering if anybody knew if the club can be charged with failing to control the fans for occurrences that happen before we set foot in the ground?

Maybe if there was significant risks to safety or property damage, trouble with police etc. I doubt our fans would sink to that level tho.

Sink to what level? protesting outside the ground?

I will repeat, I was just wondering if a protest caused a game(s) to be postponed, would the club be liable for punishment for failure to control fans?

I said maybe if there was property damage outside or trouble with police they could be punished but I doubt fans would sink that level. I never said just simply protesting outside was sinking to a level.

Were United punished when their fans caused the game against Liverpool to be postponed?

I'm not sure they were...... so I wouldn't risk it tbqhwy.

They weren't, but we absolutely would.

If actions are required to deal with the people making these decisions, getting games called off is not what we should be doing because it would be such an easy stick to beat us with. We should, in an entirely legal way, bring the consequences of the decisions made home to the people who made them - they all have workplaces, jobs, social lives that can be picketed. Wrexham did that with various sets of owners before the fans got the club back and it worked very well.

There's no way they can give us more than a 10 points deduction.

So basically if we stay up by 10 points or more we are all good.

It's as simple as that.

As a club and as a fanbase we have got to fight with all our might.

We simply can't be relegated to the lower divisions. It won't just be the end of the stadium, but the end of our club as we know it.

Before protests, has ever fan here written to the prem, their mp and the culture Secretary politely citing their objections that it is the thousands of fans that are suffering most? The name of the club is suffering, and the cause, the board will sell up and get away scot free.

It might be worth specifically requesting a reply (I've had no answers from any other these people... such arrogance and ignorance) - but if we Mail bomb them demanding personal responses.....

And maybe the next step is to raise the issue with the media and the likes of Burnham that they are ignoring the fans.

good point, if we prevented the opposition to enter the stadium they'd have to forfeit the game. We could go on a City like winning streak

Great idea. Piss them off more. Any other ideas ?
