You seem to expect him to be prime Cafu, if he was prime Cafu we would be lucky.

Amazing how he gets so much more criticism than any other young player at the club, the level of abuse on here is insane but we all know it is more to do with him not being Irish for some and having played for Rangers for others.
Mate, cut it out. Sick of this being brought into it.

I agree he gets an undue amount of criticism and I don’t think he is as bad as some posters make out. But just need to leave that crap at the door. And if anyone is giving him abuse because of those things then report them.

Instead of making comments like this that just rile people up.

Yeah we won the warm up hahahha
No pre match I warned Patterson would have a hard task with an experienced winger & a left back we gave away - a USA international - he got no help from Harrison at all ..... & why was Keen chosen yet another own goal .....
The haters of Patterson like you just thrive on it .....

Plus maybe Antonie Robertson got the same support & cleared off to Wigan for 4 million - he was their best player last night .....

this all day

doesnt seem to be getting mentioned, harrison just completely leaves robinson to make a run to set up the goal and patterson has to get across and try to cover.

he's not amazing, but he's certainly not a massive problem and performed better at RB than young has

This is a new straw to clutch at when trying to defend Patterson and I congratulate you on it. You've got a great imagination.

Like Patterson's haters - no way was he the worst player on the pitch last night - looked & the match reports, they only name one villain & it's not him, OK ...

In fact, they state the whole team was below par ....

Dont think is much between them young and patterson, patterson has the edge because is room to improve. Young has been average, of has had bad ganes but been ok. Coleman os first choice imo if fit. I just hope he can get some form back he does need a run of games to improve, i have no written him off here but like other players will call them out if i think poor

I think our own goalkeepers opinion of him is more important than a what a journalist scored him out of ten.

Our Goalkeeper kicking to outfield players was pants all night - you fail to mention that .... tactically, Silva beat Dyche at his own game ten men behind the ball hoping to catch us on the break - when we attacked the ball unluckily never fell for us in the box apart from our equaliser - to slate one right back who had a reasonable game is shameful .....
