Bill Kenwright

It's such a nonsense argument!
Why would de destroy the club that he loved? dedicated a huge chunk of his life to?

He was in charge in an era where clubs like Chelsea had Russian owners, then City got Abu Dhabi owners, how on earth were the club going to do any better in that era? For the majority of his time in charge the club were competing at the most realistic level that they could. It wasn't until Moshiri came in that things really started to go wrong!

He loved the club so much that he shut down AGMs because he'd been rumbled by the shareholders for telling multiple lies. Inculding the Samuelson SFS fiasco.

He loved the club so that he ran up a ludicrous debt that Moshiri paid off. Debt that we had accrued by Kenwright and his creatures despite us having the lowest net spend and having spent the least on our stadium throughout this time.

He loved the club so much that he tried to take us to a hideous lit-up batcave in Kirkby knowing that it would be disastrous for the club.

He was a fraud, a con-man, a shyster and a charlatan that would throw anyone under the bus to save his own skin.

That rings true a lot over the years when you look back. Even "best in the business" DBB got thrown under the bus in the end when the time was right for Bill.

He never had the money to get involved with PL football in the first place. Also you are quite wrong as there were quite serious financial issues long before Moshiri even got here due to Kenwrights lack of cash and lack of ability to generate any which would have meant letting go of his train set.

He never had a lack of cash when he sold his Everton shares, allegedly with Phil Greens money and made a fortune. Is it a coincidence that most of the fan boys these days have Dunc/ Duncan in their username ?

Sorry if this sounds a bit barmy. With Billy Boy being a darling of the FA, do you think this points deduction was purposely saved until after the self styled greatest ever Evertonian died? And it is really a punishment against predominantly working class fans, who dared to finally demand change?

Don't forget the personal fortune he made upon selling the club to Moshiri, then the million quid a year after that in salary all to make us worse and leave us where we are today.

It annoys me greatly when someone dies and we're all just supposed to pretend they didn't do anything wrong in their lives. A suitable mourning period is fine but it cannot continue in perpetuity. Enough time has passed for Evertonians to take stock and judge what "Chairman Bill" did for (or to) this club whilst becoming a much, much wealthier man.

What exactly were the selfish ends?

There's nothing disrespectful about being honest, however there's something incredibly disrespectful about slating someone that tried his best for the club even if he didn't always get it right.
Kenwright lied so often that I just had the thought that maybe he's not dead, you're him, and you're on a mission to clean up your image from beyond the grave
