6 + 2 Point Deductions

I’m pretty confident about staying up because the teams around us are significantly worse. Before the points deduction, I’d already written off the threat of relegation and was looking upwards.

The 3 promoted teams are awful, well strong a run of results together at some point which will accelerate us out of the relegation zone.

I want us to survive with the full 10 point deduction still against our name, and not set a precedent for decreased punishment on appeal, so that City and Chelsea don’t benefit from that precedent.
Fair enough except that requires one to actually believe that the way they've treated us will have any effect on the way they treat City and Chelsea. Not holding my breath for that.

I'd rather not set the precedent of having point deductions for this sort of thing at all, because it feels like the only team that will ever be held to that same precedent in the future will be us anyway.

Absolute state of these beauts. I'll be closing my account down and won't be using Paddy Power again.

Yes, but this has got away from us now. We need a lot to go right for us.
Dave you do know as we stand that the start of the season is far closer now than the end of the season?
There is 18 more points to play for before we are even at halfway, we will stay up with no problem even if the points deduction is not overturned.

Looks like we are competing with Sheff utd and Luton, just read again them 2 teams we are competing against at the minute.

I said last night that we're a Luton win against Brentford and an Everton loss against Forest from meltdown.

Just as some thought even with a 10 point deduction we'd survive with ease, a lot of people are underestimating the psychological effect Luton retaining or extending their capon us will have.

We don't know, but we can appreciate that our players after 2 relegation campaigns in succession and then starting ok after 12 games might lose their will this season.

If the 10 points stand I think we’re doomed I hope I’m wrong, you hear people saying in the media even with the deduction we’ll be fine etc,I just don’t see it at all

I remember those were the exact words on the Everton shop when they brought out the AJ derby on DVD literally three months after the game.

Even had snowflakes on a blue background. Along with highlights of the Spurs game the week before (first win at the Lane in 26 years or something).

This is why we can't have nice things. Plucky cuts it for about five minutes, then it's all about the big-four/big-six, or whatever elite group we've committed the heinous crime of not being a part of.
the great escape part 1 + 2 the dvds where called i think

It came from this article and this specific part.

Perhaps my reading of this part is incorrect, yet my interpretation is that until a specific framework is applied, the commission are free to enforce a punishment.

So, there is no framework or agreed precedent, so another breach could have a somewhat different outcome based on the commission's whims (perspective).

Thanks
Someone else sent me this.

Why would it be thrown out if we pleaded guilty?

It is harsh so hopefully, it is reduced.

Claiming corruption with absolutely no evidence though does us no favours whatsoever.

Reading your drivel day after day first and foremost, I don't think you're an Evertonian, you're clearly a "plant" perhaps a RS I don't know but you're clearly here to antagonise people - WUM perhaps.

Secondly, you're incorrect. Your facts are BS. Stop peddling it. I think GOT need to give you special measures and a ten point fine. Go away you t!t
