I too did not wish him ill, but I'm not going to pretend I care any more about him now than he did about the fan base.

As a chairman he was terrible. He regularly lied, gas-lit, threw the fan-base and others' under the bus to protect his accumulation of generational wealth and status.

If it's true, it's true, and an old man that mismanaged a club and institution bigger than himself has died before stepping down to popular vote.

99% of the fans have said nothing bad against him, just if the rumours true we have gave are condolences to the family.
Every clubs has fans that will say or do things they shouldn’t or have opinions that differ rightly or wrongly.
Doesn’t mean you need to go on twitter and start posting tweets to try make out the whole fan base has that view.
 

He’s blacklisted on here but that ToffeeTransfers account is claiming club staff have been informed of Kenwright’s passing so I’d imagine the club will issue a statement sometime later tonight
 
Nothing official just people chatting on Twitter.

Probably best to lock the thread until things are confirmed either way.
Only adding to the rumours which will be picked up on like a few already have been.

And like Thatcher, in Ireland we had a dodgy politician, Liam Lawlor, that was influential in selling off our Gas on the cheap to Shell. Cut a shocking deal for the country but he did alright for himself and his family. Besides other issues of corruption which he was investigated for and just generally being a scumbag that abused his position, the vibe at his funeral was one of 'let's not speak ill of the dead' etc.

Always wound me up that.

Had he been an honest broker, and our natural gas find was shared among the populace like Norway's oil, you'd all be waiting for the Irish bid to come in now instead of Saudis lol

It's the most liked post in the thread since it was posted. I'd say it's a view shared by many of the fanbase who want to be a bit edgy.

If this is true then condolences to his family, was he a Blue I believe so, was he a good chairman No, I believe he did his best but was always looking out for the old boys and not what was best for the club
