The TV series doesn't have John Wick in it. It's about Winston (hotel manager) when he was younger. Only one ep out so far.

Watching it now. Haven't a 'kin clue what's going on but an absolutely brilliant 70s soundtrack.

I’m only 20 minutes in but I’m loving life. The vignette visuals, the soundtrack, almost instant boss fight scene.

Decided to head backwards ( as I normally do, to be honest ) and am giving 'Broadchurch' another view.

It was such a classic when it first came out, thought it deserved another visit...

Its a prequel but its nothing to do with John Wick in itself mate. Its the origin of Winston and the Continental Hotel set in the 70's. Its really good.

Maybe cos I've not seen rebels, but I'm watching Ahsoka with the kids, and bar ep 4, nothing has really happened. Maybe if I'd seen more of the EU, then it'd be fun to see them connect different stories, but as a standalone watch, it's very slow, with practically no tension. Am I missing something?

The Baylan character seems to be the most interesting thing about it so far.

I'm a huge fan of 'it's always sunny' but I can't help feel disappointed at the last 2 series.....its lost something, imo

It’s too “clean” compared to early series. And I mean that in the way it’s now filmed and the cameras they use.

Still some hilarious moments, but it just doesn’t land the same as it used to. But they are around 40 years old now and it’s not going to be the same as a bunch of 25 year olds doing stupid stuff.
