We were crap today but the thing that has annoyed me the most is 4 minutes added time?? It's a disgrace, I'd bet the lowest added time all season and arsenal were constantly time wasting.

Not that it would have changed anything, we wouldn't have scored with another 90 mins added on but it's the principle of it. Refereeing was a disgrace today.

sorry but i don’t care about added time when my team is crap

just seen the score...not a bad result for a game that had 'expected loss' status...especially regarding GD. We need to manage our negative GD to levels better than our main rivals for relegation (Luton, Burnley and Sheffield) so I guess I am proud of our brave lionhearts for restricting Arsenal to just the solitary goal. I did not watch any of the game as spectating Everton games is generally harmful to eyesight... and mental health...but the score suggests our lionhearts put in a performance to make the home crowd proud. I trust they were given a rousing send off.

Anyway, bigger, more meaningful games lie ahead. Important we compete with Luton , Burnley etc. Exciting times!!!

I don't know what people were expecting from this game, a Beto hat-trick perhaps? That we managed to restrict a very good Arsenal team to one goal scoring opportunity is better than I expected.
My MoM was Jared Branthwaite, Miko and Tarkowski put in a good shift, and the referee wasn't abysmal for a change, although I was a bit surprised by the 4 minutes extra time at the end, in these days when 10 minutes is becoming the norm, given all the time Arsenal wasted on their numerous corners and rolling on the ground with pretend head trauma. Would another 5 minutes have made a difference? I doubt it but it just shows the inconsistency there is in the time keeping.
One point:- Stop Young taking free kicks and corners, he just floats them into the keeper's gloves.
Onward and upward Blues!!

Personally I was expecting the same effort to win that got us 4 victories out of our last 5 home matches against Arsenal. If you get beat really trying, so be it. But sitting back virtually the whole game is unacceptable.

To try at least, rather than sit back in the hope of scraping a 0-0. People can accept defeat when there is effort

I mean if you’re actually happy with that level of performance then it shows how far this club has fallen.

Positives;
-Branthwaite (by some distance the biggest positive)
-Mykolenko defensively was sound, but offers absolutely nothing in an attacking sense.
Negatives;
-Doucoure, Gana and Onana in midfield does not give us enough composure or control of the ball. Garner instead of Doucoure for me.
-Everyone is now playing short corners against us and we just do not respond or get out to press the ball.
-Complete lack of attacking threat. 3 home games played and no goals scored. Not good enough.
-Dyche seems clueless as to how to influence the game or change tactics in game. It’s a huge weakness.
-Pickford’s distribution. We’ve waited about a year for a target man to play up front and he just couldn’t put it on his head. Arsenal’s corner that lead to the goal came from a passage of play where Pickford aimlessly hoofed it up instead of waiting for players to get up the pitch. It came straight back at us and ultimately cost us a goal.
-Ashley Young’s corners. We had one in the whole game and he once again just dropped it straight in the keepers hands. McNeil or Garner need to take them.

Nothing changes. They want us to go down, they have wanted it since the war in Ukraine and then the realisation we are funded by Russia. If it’s not dodgy var decisions it’s decisions like this today. Spurs game yesterday there was 12 minutes or whatever added on.

Today there was a second half goal. Players down with head injuries about 4/5 times and both teams used substitutions. They added on 4 minutes which should of been at least 8, and then during added time there was a period of at least another minute where the ball was out of player etc, yet as soon as Pickford kicked the ball the ref blew for full time, it had at least another 45 seconds, but again, nothing will happen about it, nothing will change, we are the FA’s headache and ultimately this will continue all season.

I didn't say I was happy, just being realistic. We are not a top club at the moment and moaning on GOT won't change that.

I don’t get our need to bring everyone back at corners, but I’ve never seen an opposition team taking the p!$$ on this like arsenal did today with Raya on the halfway line and all their outfielders in and around our box.
Surely someone has to go out of our box and take a couple of theirs with them, and at least offer us a quick outlet?!
