I don’t understand what he would achieve by telling a fake story of abuse and addition?
He won’t get another contract anywhere if he doesn’t manage to get on the pitch and play for us this season so why would he lie if he wasn’t ready to turn his life around and felt he still had it in him?

What a sad little world you must live in Roy if you see a young man opening up about addiction and childhood trauma and think “nah he’s made that up as an excuse for being crap for Besiktas”.

So many public figures in entertainment and sport come up with similar stories to cover up inadequacies. They seek public attention and sympathy
and hope that they can pull the wool over our eyes. Maybe he thinks he can blag another contract somewhere by proclaiming
that he has overcome his problems.

I bet Dyche knows the score. 100k a week.

We cant be banning people for a different opinion to ourselves or this forum's going to get rather boring and no I dont agree with what Roy has put forward but he's not used foul or abusive language and a guess some people may think there is part truth in what he thinks but wont agree in case they have people requesting they get banned

You keep saying 100k a week like it’s his fault our board decided to pay that!? Have a problem with Kenwright and co if you find that so appalling.

Who are these public figures in entertainment and sport who have come up with stories of child rape, being a drug runner and nearly being murdered and being shipped off to Africa then sent back and disowned back into gang life? I feel like I missed that?
Give me a few of the ‘so many examples’ where the world has been manipulating into loving these figures and they’ve then benefited financially/extended their sporting careers?

Having worked with the victims of both sexual abuse and domestic abuse for over 20 years, I can assure you 100%, that class, wealth and social background have nothing at all to do with how it affects the victim, both at the time and for a long time afterwards / sometimes permanently.

You sir, are a nasty bellend of the highest order.
