What we're those? Passed me by.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe (print edition), Everton have a buy-back option worth €2.5m and have a significant sell-on clause as well.

The Toffees would be due 30 per cent of any transfer fee if Nkounkou is sold by Saint-Etienne.

Sounds like we are trying to sell him according to Dyche.
Oh F off if we're actually trying to sell him

Loan, fine

Selling him is utter madness

You're absolutely selling him lads. From what we've been told you turned down loan bids from Preston because you want a permanent deal.

Apparently multiple teams interested (Boro, Norwich, Leicester, Saints and Ourselves) if you believe social media. But to me it seems all smoke and mirrors/ agent talk to make a club up their price.

We've been linked since the start of the window, somewhere between 5-7m is the rumoured price.

From what we've heard our end he's coming to us, as Ross Stewart is off to Saints. I'd presume (but know nowt about it) Saints want Stewart because Che Adam is off to yourselves.

Be interesting if anyone can confirm any of that your end. All rumours at the moment.

Liecester would be a funny place for him to go to get 1st team football, with the likes of Vardy, Iheanacho, Daka in front of him. Unless some of them are leaving tomorrow??

Got a reply - not firmed it up as it stands I'm afraid - having said that I've no record of being ITK on this forum so pinch of salt required.

Shame because I'd much much rather him go to Sunderland, got so much respect for your club - a proper working class fanbase gone through the mill, real classy institution of English football. Having said that, I'm surprised clubs are meeting our valuation; there are better forwards out there for cheaper, imo - then again don't know much about who you'd partner him with

Wish you all the best for the season, hope we're playing in the same division next year (The Prem, ideally!!)

Cheers mate, very kind words. Goes without saying perhaps but Everton are well liked by most mackems too, after what your club did for Bradley Lowery and the various meetings we've had in the past. Plenty of similarities between the fanbases.

Stewart deal agreed our side, so you'd hope we have someone lined up. If not Cannon then god knows who. Mind you, no surprise if the club have cocked it all up again...
