The injury to Iwobi will force changes on the manager and that may be a good thing at this point.
The midfield needs to be reconfigured also we have lots of bodies there but are neither defending or creating anything

Ward Prowse takes a great set piece. Rest of his game is bang average.

Iwobi is kinda the only player we have that really tries to put the ball in the final 1/3rd of the pitch, we will miss him, frustrating as he is.

I still stand by my statement, Iwobi on his best day is average. Ward Prowse is multiple levels above as a footballer.

Villa’s game plan was pretty obviously to not let him into the game. He’s up and down but at least that includes an up. Who else is creating anything in our side if he doesn’t? It’s an obvious tactic and it worked.

Think he just played pyar turd tbh. there was no tactic besides passing to their teammates and watching Everton players be awful. Iwobi being the pinnacle of the awfulness

Dobbin was terrible today but tough game to come into

He was bad but I don’t think there was really any way for him to be good in that particular match.

….don’t be ridiculous, there’s a small category of players looking to run down their contracts and move on a Bosman. It’s usually those within 18 months of their current deal finishing. We see it with Mbappe but I doubt we’re in the market for him.
