As most can tell, im pretty disillusioned with this version of Everton.

I find no aspect of it enjoyable, I dread going to Goodison, I attended games in the 90s and I never felt like this, I always saw the best in the club.

But its ground me down, The Chairman, The Owner, The Players, The majority of fans they accept it, they point at FFP, the Saudis, Chelsea, they ignore the real issues this football club faces.

We exist, thats all we do, exist.

The only reason I still attend games is to spend time with my Son, if it wasnt for him, I would wave goodbye to this thing that destroys my world.

Honestly mate I don’t even know why I go most of the time either

It’s like a bad habit I can’t kick

the only way boycotting the game would work is to go to the ground but not go in.
TV money and season ticket revenue already collected, the actual revenue lost would be minimal.
You'd need 10k plus to boycott to have any sort of visual impact and thats never happening.
So boycott, stand outside the ground and protest.
That'll get media attention, Thats what they dont want.

A live sky game otherwise we will end up drawing the game 0-0 and get about 30 seconds viewing being the last game on MOTD.

It's bigger than that tho.
Every game is broadcast live in the States.
US investors take PR very seriously.
US media love a good narrative, especially one they wouldn't get in US sport.
After Ted Lasso and Wrexham, there's a real market for a gritty English football story.
Any game, if there's 1000 fans outside st. Lukes chanting and those chants can be heard inside the ground, that gets picked up by NBC as they know its what the public want to see.
This is the same broadcaster who didn't cut away from away fans singing spirit of the blues at leicester 2 seasons ago for 5 mins.
In US broadcasting terms, thats a life time.
Potential investors monitor all of that.
Everton is a real football club, there has to be some way to wake the majority up from the Kenwright induced apathy.

Of course any boycott or protest outside the ground during a game will only split the fan base further.
The question is how badly will the club get damaged in the process of removing the rot.

I took the decision to not renew my season ticket. I have travelled over from West Yorkshire 8-10 times a season for 30 years, then every game, COVID apart, for the last 8 seasons. I don't want to do it anymore, fortunately my kids have almost no interest in it.

I will miss time with my dad, brother an nephew. But aside from the support base, I am disgusted with almost every element of the club that has been part of my soul all my living memory.

I don't think i will ever see past headlock gate, when we, the clubs only real assets were thrown under the bus.

I would love to sit in each part of the ground again one last time before the move, but I don't think I can go back until Kenwright has gone and the club has started to heal and decided it's wants to be better.

The last couple of seasons have been exhausting. That last minute defeat against Southampton following the drama of the day, in turn followed by a long, sad drive home through the snow, sliding sideways over saddleworth moor was it for me.

I dearly hope whoever has taken my seat in GT5 can offer the team more than I feel I could now.

This weekend I will be at Harrogate v Forest Green, hoping to stay off my phone to get updates from Goodison as I try and start a more healthy relationship with Everton

On one hand this breaks my heart, on the other I feel liberated.

NSNO.

I think we should seriously consider this.

It seems like the only way we, the supporters of this club, can effect change.

Unfortunately, it does not seem as if the fans are not willing to forfeit going to a match/matches to try and effect that change.

After today`s display the players seem willing to not turn up for games so I don`t see why the fans can`t stop showing up.
When Villa scored their third there were plenty of people starting to leave.

Yes all day long but far too many evertonians wouldn't.

Every protest has been a damp squib because people just aren't that arsed in ruining the routine.

Well then when they are sitting in the new stadium and we are playing Queens Park Rangers then they shouldn't complain, should they?
