I think it’s an absolute nonsense to suggest £15m buys you nothing better than Adam’s. That’s what the DoF is employed for.

Yes, it would look much better if we could ship Maupay out as Adams comes in.

No we shouldn’t be buying any forward from a team that also failed to score last year and finished below our extremely poor team

The fact we’ve gone for Adams is a reflection the Manager won’t be using Chermiti. Of all the strikers in the world, surely there’s better out there for £15m than Che Adams.

We can't neglect the immediate - core of every decision has to be staying in the league.

I'm not overly enthused with Adams, nor going to have a nervous breakdown but it's very small margins down there. Does he improve us a bit?

We're skint, relegation fodder managed by Sean Dyche and it's clear as day to anyone the club is dysfunctional. World football has Everton down as a basketcase thanks to Moshiri, Kenwright and co. Goalscorers are hard to come by at the best of times, nevermind for Everton at the moment.

Not gonna pile on the lad as much as I don't want him. I shall give him the time to settle but his past record doesn't look inspiring. he lead the line for a team relegated and scored 5 goals, how on earth Thelwell thinks that is a help for us is mindblowing.

Anymore than £12m walk away that is already £11m too much.

….I think we have to accept that we are now generally disliked. It’s the club we’ve turned into.

RAWK have an ‘Everton - The Unflushables’ thread and I’ve seen that expression widely used.
