If hes someone that Thelwell and Dyche feel can be developed into an elite player then we need to get to a mutually agreeable number.

If £22mil isnt achievable then try to add some fairly achievable clauses e.g nominated for PFA YPOTY, 10 goals in a season etc.

….we didn’t have printers in the Civil Service and I’d only give a new pen if staff could show that the old one had run out. Managing the stock of Izel toilet paper was a big responsibility.
