I would imagine dyche probably sees gnonto in a similar mould to when he had Lennon at Burnley. Not sure Gnonto will ever be able to reach the kind of level that Lennon did at his best but you never know.

I know nothing about Ibrahim Adel but apparently, he is available for about 5m Euro. He was the player of the tournament for the Afcon u23s which is promising. At 4m/5m he seems relatively low risk and from my 5 mins of YouTube it would look to be 5m well spent

Small stature doesn't neccessarily mean he will not be succesful. He is strong which will help alleviate that.

But why spend little on potential when you can spend hundreds of millions on mediocrity.

i'm not saying he is at this level & I have tried to give a mix of players with difference success, but David Siva, Bernardo Silva, Tariq Lamptey, Pondence, Kante, Encinso, Sterling etc all around the same height as him and if anything he is more athletic than most of the players listed & have all done well. I wouldn't worry about height personally.

Down to ability most of the time.
Kante makes a superb midfielder role that he plays because of his excellent athleticism.
Bernardo silva is a world class player because of his technical ability.
Two small players with very different strengths.
Nor did I -rumours it's a done deal are way off the mark
Also, it is not like he would be coming from a different league. He has a PL season under his belt by the age of 19 which is a lot more than most PL players manage and he didn't look out of place last season for Leeds. Any time they played on TV it seems like the pundits always mentioned him and a real talent and one for the future. I don't recall anyone saying he was too small or lightweight
Yeah, and he’s not some waif like a Billy Gilmour type, he’s a mini tank so he’s not going to be knocked off the ball easily. If anything his lack of height when combined with speed and strength probably makes him more difficult to deal with.

Favour emery done well after taking over from Gerrard. Was in the championship 3yrs and for all our crapness they have finished above us 5 times in 20yrs
