He's not elevating us on his own to any great extent and he's also not getting better. So we stay where we are and in 3 years we're again looking for someone to do his job. The cycle repeats. We have to break the cycle of mediocrity before we go down.
I'm seeing the sense of this argument now...I thought next season was unique, one where we had to stay up no matter what desperate measures it took. But when you see the feebleness of the measures proposed, offering no guarantee of safety, then I think it would be better to have a plan for development and go down with some dignity. Who knows, we may even stay up...
