"Dear Matty, it is with great sadness that I have to relinquish control of my train set erm I mean Everton Football Club in the next 24-4800 hours.
I'd like to thank Denise who really was an excellent tea maker, Grant who always took great care in choosing the biscuits and of course Sharpie who gave so much TLC to Percy the Panda, our boardroom mascot.
I leave the club in good health, yes I've just had one more check up that I charged to the Everton Dr account so I'm good to go. It's with a heavy heart and an even heavier bank account that I wish you all goodbye.
