That club statement doesn't make it look like kenwright is going anywhere.
Not sure about that. There's no reason to mention him in a follow up statement about his future if there wasn't some sort of plan to get rid. Easiest thing to do would be not mention it and hope fans move past it. By saying they'll address his future they've opened themselves up to us all getting upset if he says he's staying.

No doubt he wants something put together special for him. Probably will want to get quotes from Moyes, Martinez, Rooney and all them to basically stroke his ego and say how great of a chairman he was and how this is such an upsetting and historic day for Everton. He's an egomaniac, he wants to have a big song and dance made about him.

Just know Bill will hold a solo board meeting tomorrow. Just him sitting there in a full kit and a box of Jaffa Cakes.

On a serious note, mention of “interim” board members quite interesting.
As a public company, the club must have two directors - legally. Someone will need to be appointed as soon as possible, either interim or the new stakeholders.

Considering the latter, I think we may be seeing an investment sooner rather than later.

I won’t be celebrating until we see a complete shift in culture for the better and no more smoke screens. Total change otherwise it’s a waste of time.

If that horrible man is staying on in some capacity even as some life president thing then i am done because it will be a smoke screen for him to privately still have influence at the club and I don’t have it in me anymore to be constantly cheesed off at him and the people who troll in his defence or sincerely defend him.
