I took a look at the Championship sides last season and thought that matches against most of those clubs used to be difficult enough in the Premier League...
Honestly, while we would be the Goliath of that league, the reality is you wouldn't be taking matches against WBA, Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Norwich, Stoke, Watford, Birmingham, or QPR for granted - let alone Leeds, Leicester, or Southampton. And Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday are on the up again, as are Coventry and Ipswich. A nest of vipers, that league.

On average yes (because of the way German clubs are regulated) - but Bayern are the super heavyweight exception. I don't see Bayern spending that kind of money on Rice, but they could if they wanted to. They are the best managed superclub in the word. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has made his return to the supervisory board today. They're not messing around this summer.
