Tierney would fit right in here

While I would love Richarlison back. It would be a really expensive loan. Loans are just money Going out of the club.

I want us to look forward. I think we should try and bring in young hungry players, who can be developed and then even be sold for profit later on so we can rebuild as a club.

He would have played far more for us than Arsenal of course, and he wouldn't have bolted for Villa either I'd wager

Digne didn't "bolt" to Villa. He was pushed out of the club by Benitez.

Tierney also played well over 20 games for Arsenal each season in the league, maybe he'd have played more if he wasn't always injured.

I know you're Scottish but have a day off.

I just said on another thread that we might see him as a long term replacemnent for Coleman at RB/RWB.

He was superb there yesterday.

The lad seems suited to that side.

I thought his positioning was superb all game, Outtara barely had a kick.

That said much rather he becomes that ball playing sitter infront of the back 4 that people thought Tom Davies would be when he broke through 4-5 years back.

No reason why he can't as Burnley's CM for last few years of Dyche was Ashley Westwood and Brownhill. Indeed with Lennon and McNeill also regularly playing it was probably one of the smallest midfields in whole league so not like Dyche just packs his midfield with Doucoure types.

Maybe, mate.

I can only say that although he was easing into a CM role at Everton latterly, that performance at RWB was a breakthrough moment.

Then again, I know nothing about football apparently...

Maybe, maybe, broaden your minds before PL or recently PL clubs.

Dyche hardly signed any foreign players at Burnley though. I think when asked he claimed their scouting network wasn't good enough but then they appoint Kompany and signed half the Belgian league in one window a division lower.

Given his post match interview he'll be signing 2-3 tried and tested prem players for sure.

Coady was a surprise pick up last season considering he was starting every week for Wolves so hopefully it won't just be bench warmers in their early 30s.

Bring back richarlison on loan. Or sign some exciting Brazilian forward.
Thing is Spurs are all over the shop so I can’t see them loaning him even though he’s not had much of a sniff.

They have no manager, reportedly might not trigger Kulusevski’s buy option (we should keep an eye on that), Kane might go, Danjuma almost certainly doesn’t get bought, so at this stage I think there’s any chance they let him go. Maybe late in the window but we certainly can’t plan on it being our main option.
