Why are English managers crap?
Or are their names not trendy enough?

Should we put vowels at the end of their names and we will see them in a better light?

Seriously, are English managers behind the times with style and tactics, i think they are.
Are they progressive enough, do they improve individuals like foreign coaches/managers do?

Why do they always seem to park the bus and see what we can get from a set piece type of tactics.

English managers in and around the PL in recent years.
Lampard: Utter gash
Gerrard: Gash
Allardyce: Oxygen thief
Pulis: tit
Dean Smith: Garbo
Sean Dyche: crap
Roy Hodgson: Cwap
Graeme Potter: jury is out
Steve Cooper: done a good job
Gary O'Neil: done ok
Eddie Howe: fantastic 1st season, (one season wonder?)

All of them always operate in the lower echelons of the PL why?

Maybe you're looking at it the wrong way. Maybe there aren't a lot of good coaches, no matter the nationality

I think Harry Redknapp was the last decent one. Howe has had a good season but they've just bought right. Can't see him doing much in Europe next season.

Im biased maybe as I know the man personally having worked closely with him before he hit the big time but Osian Roberts has done a great job as technical at the Welsh fa and then in the same role with the Moroccan national team. Under his guidance alongside Gary Speed we saw wales reach their first major finals in a long time and reaching the semi finals, Morocco also had a great run in the last World Cup under his guidance too. Admittedly after he left Morocco to join Viera at palace it didn’t work out but the point I’m making is there are lot’s of behind the scenes coaches in this country who may not necessarily be big named managers but are usually the technical brains working behind the scenes.

Amazingly, and I know I’ve been the pub, but I nearly almost agree with this….nearly…almost….
