Bill Kenwright

Double edged sword for Kenshite next Sunday.

Does he turn up? There's 'glory' to be had if we survive, getting his over-sized grid back on telly and throwing himself in front of every camera going after the game giving his usual embarrassing soundbites, but if the worst happens, well massive, monstrous amounts of crap will be coming his way, and deservedly so.

Can't believe he's not going to be there next Sunday should the worst happen. If ever an individual owned a moment, it would be this. Sums up the man to tee that he'll be cowering away down in London.

He won't be there on Sunday. He'll just put out his normal BS statement before it with the usual tired and tedious rhetoric. Then he'll put out another right after its over with one of two clearly long prepared whinfests both attacking the fans in the typically disenguous way he always does with the wording only altered only ever so slightly depending on if we've stayed up or gone down.

He will not be there but you can bet his mates in the press will be heaping loads of crap at us next week.

There’s zero glory to be had next Sunday. Survival is not glorious, it’s the narrow avoidance of disaster.

He should be embarrassed whatever our fate. We came close enough to relegation last year and that should’ve been the biggest wake up call.

The bigger question for me, if we do end up staying up, is which wall of his house is Chairman Bill going to put a framed poster of the 2022/23 Good Times league table?

Life is all serendipity and sliding doors decisions made in the past that absolutely have consequences on the present day.

This isn't a defence of Moshiri but regardless of his MO in buying us he's has actually pumped millions into us and got the ball rolling in regards to the stadium which will be his only positive legacy.

But make no mistake the day Bill Kenwright got his hands on this Incredibly Historic and Brilliant Football club was without doubt the worst thing that had ever happen to it.
