i hope GDC wins as the sport needs superstars but I would be concerned about his inexperience. He has won over 3m in his hurdle days but not run that distance over bigger obstacles. Hopefully Stattler is in the mix.

GDC is a superstar matey but I’m expecting him to be too fast for a gold cup. He’s either going to piss it and look a million dollars or be too fast and fall away. It’s so interesting.

….we’ll definitely know more after tomorrow. Stattler stayed brilliantly in last years National Hunt Chase, if he’s on GDC shoulder with a few fences to go he could put him under real pressure. A few of the others are running as a Grand National prep, so might stay on after struggling with pace.
