The Everton Board Thread

Incredible listening to Simon Jordan say it’s the fans fault we’ve not signed anyone because we’re creating a hostile environment. All he does is hide behind the fact that Moshiri has spent money. Well that’s irrelevant isn’t it Simon when we’ve been run incredibly poorly. The owner and board are both toxic and clueless, and they never let the DoF do his job properly. Would you protect a neglectful, or worse abusive parent just because they throw money at their child? Course you wouldn’t. Would you then blame someone for trying to bring attention to that child’s maltreatment? Again, no you wouldn’t.

Anyone who says that fans voicing concerns and creating protest banners is “not helping” can do one, letting this go unaddressed any longer is completely negligent. They’ve already basically condemned us to relegation barring a Dyche miracle. He needs to sell up ASAP and the boardroom needs gutting. I’d leave Thelwell and actually see if he’s capable of doing his job under proper ownership, as like Brands we have no idea if he’s competent.

The board only spends Moshiri's cash and he has pulled the gates up.

Hasn't been to Goodison since 2021 and yet some people are saying we need to chase him out of the club he doesn't turn upto.

It's quite clear that he is looking for an out and not prepared to invest or lose any more money on his Everton project.
I don't think so. I think it's been Usmanov's cash but it's dried up as recent attention in media and parliament etc exposed thst he was present at interviews and wider knowledge he's still involved means there's an immediate stop to this. Hence why they need some of that cash to pay off Lampard and probably other immediate debts. Moshiri probably hasn't put a penny in. He's not that wealthy in football terms. It won't surprise me if we're completely for sale this week.

Ultimately, Bill has bought these people in to serve himself and in turn they have all literally destroyed us. It's all on him for bringing this darkness to our club and Moshiri is in fact a fraud.

I have never been more disheartened about the club, and what it has become. The inability to secure even a single loan signing is abysmal. Moshiri has pumped a lot of money in, granted, but the decision making by him, and the people he has put in place to run the club, have been catastrophic. Until we have a competent board in place, it’s hard to see much changing.

I think our supporters from matchgoers to supporters clubs, fansites,tv radio bloggers everyone need to fill the vacuum now and show the footballing world that this is our club. There is no leadership coming from the boardroom infact it would be best for everyone if they just stayed away from Goodison. On match days especially from before, during the match and after with coach welcomes supporting the team to further demonstrations against the liars we need to show that we dont need that board. That things can carry on without them and they will be better without them. Make the matchdays an event again. We need to reconnect now with the players and new manager. Maybe our more media savvy blues could arrange an interview with the manager and maybe some players. All separate from official stuff. To meet some supporters and all get on the same page now. After tonight we know what weve got and what needs doing. Goodison needs to be at its finest.Snarling. Aim our anger at the opposition during the match. After the match and from then on attack the reputation of those boardmembers through social media and regular media. Make sure the media they used to try and smear the fanbase knows who, what, where and why. We dont need kenwright and the rest. The further away we can keep them the better.
Good post. Although need to use your space key a little more. Is it stuck down with honey? Well I hope it's honey!

Would you support a joint protest with Liverpool fans for the derby? Seen some of theirs calling for this with it being their next home game. They're not happy with their ownership at all and the way they're being run.

As amusing as it has been watching their decline, it can't be good for the city having both its football clubs go down the pan at the same time.

He hasn’t spent any money for 2 seasons. Well, not money he has allowed the board to spend (on transfers etc).

It’s an off season for them. They have them every 4 years. They won 2 trophies last season and reached another final and were fighting for the league as well. In no way should we be protesting with them about the way our clubs are run.

We can't spend on transfers due to FFP but he has been propping up our accounts for the last few seasons still. Just have to look at the accounts for the 20/21 Season that he propped up the accounts with a share issue of 100 million and then propped them up by a further 97 million.

Since then he himself has paid for the stadium build personally and probably in the region 400 million so far.

The next set of accounts will be out in March and they will be a car crash as well.

The clubs finances are reliant on Moshiri propping them up.
