Anyone who doesn’t have reservations about taking this job is completely the wrong fit.
If he doesn't have reservations, he's the wrong fit. If he does have reservations, he won't manage us...

…..but Dyche wouldn’t entertain a deal that keeps him here for a few months.

This isn’t La La Land, where one bloke comes in to save the sinking ship then moves aside whilst another bloke happily takes his place. The scenario you imagine is so far from reality.

Dyche and Bielsa are failed PL Managers, they are unemployed for a reason. it’s amazing that some folk want both of them!!
Is it really impossible that we could get Dyche to do half a season? With an incentive bonus if he keeps us up? I agree that Dyche and Bielsa aren’t ideal, but who else would want to come, that is better?

Trying to speculate who might do well and who might struggle in a Bielsa squad.

Might do well: Patterson, Godfrey, Iwobi, Onana, Garner, Gray, McNeil, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Doucoure
Might struggle: Mina, Coady, Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Gana, Davies, Coleman, Townsend
Undecided: Holgate, Maupay, Simms, Vinagre
Davies might do OK, if being able to run around is a must

Honestly, I dont know which one is a better fit for whatever is going on behind the scenes. The one thing Im confident of is the people making the decisions have no clue either, except with their "wisdom" they will most likely choose the wrong one and do it for the wrong reasons.

…if I’m Dyche there’s no way I sign for 6 months. The big bonus will be part of the deal anyway. Imagine players working for a boss they know is out the door soon. If I’m Bielsa, i say you either want me now on my terms or not at all.

I’m not paid lots of money to identify the right person but somewhere out there is a young aspirational & ambitious manager that will make a difference.

Everton is a huge proposition to that type. We need to get lucky but much rather that than the same old failures jumping from one sinking ship to another.

Rather go for a successful lower league manager looking to break into the prem with a fire to show they can play with the big boys. We don't have the players for Bielsa, and Dyche I dont think would save us from this mess. Not sure who this lower league manager would be as I dont really follow much low league football.
... yet...

Some quite promising ones in the Champo TBF

We all know the hierarchy have no clue but being the optimist, I’m now desperately resorting to the hope that one day they might just get ‘the right’ manager purely by accident and law of averages.?
