I'm fully behind it, I got a load of abuse when I said the way he was dressing etc in pre season indicated to me that he had changed mentally. He seemed arrogant to me, and unfortunately he hasn't backed up his arrogance. He has a lot of talent, he's got a lot of physical attributes too, but for me he was successful because of his heart and his determination. I think he wont give that heart to us anymore, and to make a potential 50 million pound on a guy who cost us nothing and has only scored 3 goals this season, I think it's the right move

Point of order that sort of money on the books from a homegrown is really good for FFP. Plus any player wanting out of Everton more so a scouse lad can really do one.
