Anthony Gordon Gone? Right Oh! @chicoazul

And they are talking selling Onana... Rangers signed Cantwell so Davies is safe, Cal-Lewin must be heart broke he didn't get his shot at Arsenal, how are we reduced to a fire sale at 50% of the season played? So many outs and nothing coming in, are we in talks to skip the championship and drop two leagues just for giggles?

A definite sell as he's really not very good. But obviously if he goes, given he's marginally better than McNeil, and we have just lost out on Danjuma, plus you imagine the club wanted one more aside from him, it's got to be a minimum of three new players in.

Impossible.

I think Barkley was talented to be fair. To compare Barkley with Gordon, Barkley was much better in my opinion.

Interestingly Barkley now plays for Nice, he came on as a sub a couple of weeks ago against Montpellier with 20mins to go and scored a brace in a 6-1 victory.

I wouldn’t blame Onana if he went to Newcastle.

He could possibly be playing champions league football next season, or worst case scenario Europa League.

That’s where he wants to be, moving his career upwards, not fighting in relegation battles with a load of players who are terrible.

I genuinely believe he wanted to play for us and stick with it, but the club internally seems poisonous. Who wouldn’t want to escape that?

Let them all go,we need the players who are going to roll up there sleeves and fight for us not wanting a move .
At the end of the day we were born to come And watch Everton for them it’s just a place of work .COYB

I wouldn’t blame the lad. Like Stones and other young players before him he gets dogs’ abuse from his own fans week-in and week-out.

Stones never got “dogs abuse”, Gordon gets it for being an absolute melt of a human being.

Whatever the rationale, the scenes outside the ground the other day were out of order mate. We just looked stupid doing that. It's not as serious as the media makes out, but it needs to stop.

As for the rest, I agree. He wants to go because the club likely want/need to sell, and hes going to a team in the top 4. It's not a difficult choice. He will end up bringing in 50m or whatever for us. For a lad, who 18 months ago had struggled at Preston. It's a rare success story for Evertons player recruitment.

The handful of stupid idiots that were chasing his car looked stupid yes, they don’t represent you or me or the wider fanbase though.

No I agree.

I have to say, the inground support for most players is astonishing really, given the context.

Hes not leaving for that reason. Hes leaving for perfectly logical reasons, it's a good move for him and a very good move for the club.

I hope we can get some players in with it, and we remember to switch on the fax machine!

No matter who we sell, this will never happen...
